Luha is built from beads that grow as they go, small at the top and widest at the base, so the earring settles into a teardrop rather than starting as one. Named for the Tagalog word for a teardrop, which is the shape it arrives at.
Red agate runs deep and warm, a saturated red that shifts as it catches the light. Because the beads graduate in size, the banding reads differently at the top than it does at the base, and the colour deepens as the shape widens.
Smaller in the hand than they look on the ear. Wear them with a bare neck to let the shape do the work, or with any of the red agate necklaces: Lila for something fine and quiet, Mayari for weight and presence, Hibla for a clean line at the collarbone.
